Hello NBA Fans! More specifically Tecmo Super NBA Basketball fans (SNES)! I have a goal to update this ROM completely but need help from anyone that is willing to put in the time. I have made a lot of huge updates to the ROM that I am going to post before the start of the regular season but there is still a lot of things that need updates. I am slowly learning how to hack games and as I get better I feel I can make more updates. I am looking for people who have experience hacking SNES games or those that are willing to go on a journey with me and relive their childhood to bring this game up to a complete update. Please reply or message me if you are interested in this project. In the meantime I going to post a few screen shots of my current update to graphics. They're not perfect but I've made a solid update to logos. I've also updated courts with teams current Arena names. Here are a few goals of things I would like to update: -All 30 NBA teams -Update SIM data (currently the last player on each teams roster scores all the points when a team is on SKP) -Update Team Data Pages (changing SEAT to OKC, N.J. to BKL) -Updating Court Palettes to reflect current teams court colors. -Update Game Scoreboard team names for a couple teams (Sonics to Thunder, Bullets to Wizards) -Rearranging divisions to current 6 divisions alignment. -Update schedule and playoffs -MORE (There are few other things that could be updated as I look at the game) Also I would love to get this thread going for tips, tutorials on hacking this game like I've seen on other websites (TBORG, NHL94). Let's get this game up to date!!

I’ve started this to basically ask the site & usual nba live HWC maker “kdubmods” when the next version of the yearly rom was releasing . That being 2022-2023 version . I look forward to it almost every day !

I used to run an online Tecmo NBA Basketball league and I've been thinking about reviving it. Here was the site I created for the league: http://www.callmefairf.com/tecmo_nba/ I started up a Discord, and so far there are six people that have joined. https://discord.com/channels/869959538143527013/869965047244423238 I'd love to start with nine owners, which each owner drafting three of the twenty-seven teams in the game. Draft rules would go something like this. Draft Rules TEAM DRAFT 9 owners, 3 rounds of drafting of the 27 OG ROM teams (non-snake). Each owner will draft three OG teams until they are gone. PLAYER DRAFT After that, 2 rounds of stealing players from each other (non-snake), with the last team last drafted getting to steal first. This will remain the non-snaking order for both rounds. For each pick, a team will choose to steal a player from another team and, in the process, give that other team the player that occupies the identical roster spot of the stolen player. For example, if the last picked team in the game was the Clippers, the Clippers would get the first player steal. They might choose to steal Michael Jordan but would have to give up Ron Harper. Owners may not steal players from teams they own Stolen players cannot be stolen, but given players may.

List of done stuff: All current teams and rosters have been edited for 2021 roster names All Teams are 100% done with 2021 rosters and stats, #s and everything. One Unis for all. Actual 'settings' for cpu vs cpu BIg 3 Esque scores. List of stuff that needs to be done: Alumni(Yo, it's AI and Agent 00.) Other Uni. Finding a way so that the game will actually edit said team names outside of just team data. Finding other hex edits to change skin color and the like. Season? Logos? List of Swaps: Hawks - Triplets(6 Players) Celtics - Power(7 Players) Hornets - 3 Headed Monsters(Only have a starting 5 because that's all on the team) Bulls - Trilogy(Same) Cavs - Enemies(Same) Mavericks - Ghost Ballers(Same) Nuggets - Tri State(Same) Pistons - Bivouac(Same) Warriors - 3's Company(Same) Rockets - Aliens(Same) Pacers - Killer 3's(Same) Clippers - Ball Hogs(Same) Pictures are a little dated. I've seen and heard plenty of requests to hack this particular game, so let's make it happen! I'll start off with attaching some files I received from previous hacking effort, so let's run with from there.
