    It's been awhile, so let's get this going again with a functioning and playable POC version. Here are some quick notes:
    *rosters updated for 2025-2026 season (as of 10/21/2025)
    *players mainly overwritten in bulk by teams via preseason rankings (so, OKC will be #1)
    *player attributes updated only--stats and player similarity overrides not added yet

    One more Double Z Mod in all its 32-bit glory is here!
    Get ready to razzle some dazzle with many of the greatest (and some questionable…) players from 1975 through 2025! Celebrating the last 50 years of basketball (and – in NBA Jam style – pop culture), NBA Jam 50 for PlayStation is a full art assets (portraits, heads, sound clips, etc.) update from the minds of Double Z and Wake that overlays the wackiness of those previous Double Z Mods on top of ponlork’s NBA Jam 2K22 engine. Get ready for some crazy mashups and matchups with the likes of Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Bronny James, Steph Curry, Larry Bird, Vince Carter, Magic Johnson, Shaq, Allen Iverson, Chauncey Billups, Victor Wembanyama, and many more!

    Based on the NBA Live '96 video game for Sega Genesis, this updated version contains the latest NBA teams and rosters for the 2022-2023 season (including a workaround to play with the New Orleans Pelicans). So enjoy your retro gaming hoops, but with the next generation players. Run a full season and win your way to the Finals, or lineup against the latest 2022 NBA All-Stars (Team LeBron vs. 2022 Team Durant). Check out the 2022 Rising Star Rookies vs. 2022 Rising Star Sophomores, or perhaps give the 2021 USA FIBA team a go!

    Tecmo Super NBA Basketball 2022

    This is a roster update for the 2021-2022 NBA season. It is a fully functional game, but I consider it a beta/prototype because:
    missing 3 teams--Memphis Grizzlies, New Orleans Pelicans, and Toronto Raptors missing 2 divisions--Southeast and Northwest ('22 Southwest is roughly equivalent to '92 Midwest) player facial features and skin tones are often incorrect

    📝 NOTE: Started learning how to hack this ROM, so at least the season dates are correct (2021-2022) throughout the game. It looks more official that way, and will be back ported to my previous season ROMs.

    I know we're a little late posting this, but we do want to congratulate the 2021 NBA Champions, the Milwaukee Bucks. It's their 2nd championship overall, after one of the longest championship droughts in the game. To be fair, although I didn't initially pick 'em, I was continually cheering for 'em.
    I'm very happy for Giannis "The Greek Freak" Antetokounmpo, but especially for Khris "Khash Money" Middleton. I think the latter needs a new nickname--Khris, The Closer!

    NBA Jam 2K22 TE (SNES)

    This is quick teaser for my next romhack.  I'm hoping to release it in September.
    I've currently got rosters updated through June 15th, minimum 5-man rosters (current players!), when expanded, for every team, and some other nuggets, thanks to the Mattrizzle Player Engine.

    For the rest of the summer 2021, we're allowing any guests to download any game files!
    This will generate some more interest in the site from onlookers, and perhaps get more people registered and chatting on these boards, son!
    In the meantime, please enjoy, get the word out, and if all goes well, this might become permanent. Let's see how it plays out first.
