I know we're a little late posting this, but we do want to congratulate the 2021 NBA Champions, the Milwaukee Bucks. It's their 2nd championship overall, after one of the longest championship droughts in the game. To be fair, although I didn't initially pick 'em, I was continually cheering for 'em. I'm very happy for Giannis "The Greek Freak" Antetokounmpo, but especially for Khris "Khash Money" Middleton. I think the latter needs a new nickname--Khris, The Closer! -

Interesting, So here's what I found after a really brief gameplay: 1) Animation is top notch, of course 2) Limited to just some WB characters (pros/cons) 3) I found the default button mappings awkward 4) Has an NBA Jam vibe to it, which makes sense given its Acclaim/Sculptured software background 5) The "wacky factor" adds the proper level of cartoon humor to it... and I'm glad it's adjustable! Of course, in hindsight, plenty of things can be changed (more characters, bigger clock, etc.) but it could potentially make for a decent base/core/template for such a game idea. Add it to the Jam!

Well, I found (and fixed) some Forum Permissions issues while trying a post a new topic tonight. In particular, even I couldn't post a "New Topic" in the ROM Hacking Notes forum, let alone anyone else. Also, numerous other forums wouldn't allow registered members to "Reply to Topics"... too many to list! So, now that those issues are resolved, be like that old school ringtone (via Fabolous) and "Holla back young'n (hoo hoo)!"

I gotta admit, as much as I love hacking away @ NBA Live 96, I would much prefer to hack NBA Live 95 for Sega Genesis. Although there's benefits to the former--mainly Toronto and Vancouver/Memphis already added--nostalgia is still drawing me back towards the original (Live 95) that started it all. I mean, it had a better intro screen and background music, player starting lineup photos, and I feel the animation was more... accurate, in terms of player pacing and movement. What do ya'll think?

Based off the NBA Basketball 2018 game hack, so it's primarily a roster update only (as of 01/31/2021)--with COVID-19 still hindering the situation. This is a fully functional game, but I consider it a beta/prototype because: missing 3 teams--including the Toronto Raptors! (sorry, I'm not currently fluent in ROM hacking enough to extend this game from 27 teams to 30 teams) missing 2 conferences (same; don't know how to hack this yet) updated player stats, but don't fully understand the player editor at the moment (though I have a good feel for it) -

I've seen and heard plenty of requests to hack this particular game, so let's make it happen! I'll start off with attaching some files I received from previous hacking effort, so let's run with from there.
